CREST, stands for the Centre Renewable Energy & Sustainable Technology. Based in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, it has been set up to take advantage of the move towards sustainable energy. It provides industry R & D, demonstration and testing facilities for new renewable energy products and technologies. The idea is to support those who have ideas for technologies and products but who may not have the capacity to develop,  test and commercialise them.

It is an EU funded project, which is led by South West College, in collaboration with Cavan Innovation & Technology Centre, IT Sligo and Dumfries & Galloway College in Scotland.

The goal is to encourage innovation in sustainable technology &  renewable energy, make businesses more competitive and create jobs in this sector, whilst reducing our impact on the environment. To find out more visit thecrestproject.com
