            • Communities Facilities Scheme: Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has launched a scheme for community / voluntary groups.               Save the Curlew: Please report sightings of breeding curlews to the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) on 01-8883255 or log sightings online at http://www.birdwatchireland.ie.

              North Co Monaghan is one of the designated areas where a curlew conservation project is currently underway.
