        Be a Climate Ambassador: Want to play a part in building sustainable climate ambassadorIrish communities ready to meet the challenges of a changing climate. The Climate Ambassador programme runs for 12 months and during that time you will be provided with support from the Programme’s Climate Action Officers.         Citizens Assembly on ‘How the State can make Ireland a Leader on Climate Change’: Videos of all the presentations at the Assembly’s recent gathering as well as expert papers are all available at citizensassembly.ie. A second weekend during which the Assembly will debate the Climate Change issue will be held on 4th – 5th November.

        Climate Change EPA Lecture: Thursday, 26 October. Communicating Climate Change – Why So Difficult? Venue: The Round Room, The Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin. The EPA in conjunction with the National Dialogue on Climate Action have organised the event. The speaker, Professor Chris Rapley CBE, is Professor of Climate Science at University College London and has specialised in climate communication issues. For details. See News and Events at epa.ie.
